SOSi is seeking a DFAC Warehouseman for our current contract located on Camp Taji in Iraq.


  • Responsible for all warehouse activates related to the efficient, effective and error free loading and unloading of trucks and related products, goods and supplies
  • Ensure that product is picked and palletized properly
  • Loaded/unloaded trucks in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
  • Participated in the loading and movement of product and packaging
  • Monitor and control warehouse temperatures and humidity levels
  • Oversee packaging inventory including, the ordering and understanding requirements
  • Fill out paperwork/computer reporting related to all warehouse activates


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in full service or institutional food service environment
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers and other personnel
  • Knowledge of food service and sanitation standards
  • Ability to consistently arrive punctually and contribute to positive dining atmosphere
  • Ability to wear Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) such as a ballistic vest and helmet
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push supplies and boxes up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required 

Working Conditions

  • Willingness to live and work under environmental and other conditions that may be uncomfortable or hazardous at times
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
  • Requires periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary
  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
