SOSi is currently seeking experienced All-Source Intelligence Analysts to support the Defense Intelligence Agency's (DIA) Defense Counterterrorism Center (DCTC) program in Reston, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have analytical experience working in multiple interagency type environments, with experience leading and mentoring other analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis of data, produce finished intelligence, populate various databases, and disseminate a broad array of intelligence products.
  • Produce products and briefings to both tactical and strategic customers that meet ODNI and DIA analytic tradecraft standards.
  • Support DoD field collectors and determine the best methodology to prepare and produce integrated intelligence products including targeting products in direct
    support of special operations.
  • Provides guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies. Uses argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives. 
  • Draft and finalize Intelligence Information Reports (IIR's)
  • Review - and in some cases with Team Chief approval - process, and provide responses to foreign release requests and downgrade/declassification requests.
  • Understand DIA and broader IC CT analytic priorities and associated collection requirements.
  • Complete tasker and research requirements with limited guidance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • An active in-scope TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • Minimum 8 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the labor category. 
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.
  • Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines. 
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction. 
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution. 
  • Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence. 
  • Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems. 

Working Conditions

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends.
