Overview

SOSi is seeking a Waiter/Waitress for our current contract located on Camp Taji in Iraq.

Responsibilities

  • Works under the direction of the Head Waiter
  • Ensures that great customer service is provided
  • Takes and completes all orders and assigned duties in Dining Room
  • Serves food to patrons during the serving period
  • Maintains good hygiene and sanitation standards 
  • Ensures that uniform standards are being met daily
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in full service or institutional food service environment 
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers and other  personnel 
  • Knowledge of food service and sanitation standards  
  • Ability to consistently arrive punctually and contribute to positive dining atmosphere
  • Ability to wear Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) such as a ballistic vest and helmet
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language

Working Conditions

  • Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
  • May require the ability to lift / and or move objects or packages of up to 50 lbs
