SOS International LLC (SOSi), is seeking a highly qualified Materials Control Supervisor to support a project providing technical services including inspections, assessments, repairs, reports, and training for facilities and operations-related projects. Specifically, this project includes electrical inspection and repairs, fire prevention assessment and training, storage and management of government / contractor property, and construction and operations related inspections and assessments at various U.S. military and coalition occupied facilities.


This position will require deployment to countries within the U.S. military’s CENTCOM area of Responsibility, including the operations center in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Some travel throughout the CENTCOM AOR is anticipated for this position. The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting similar work in an OCONUS contingency environment.


  • Perform management and operation of the Electrical Bill of Materials (EBOM) containers.
  • Create and maintain multiple databases in support of Program and Project requirements and mission specific tasks.
  • Assists in the management, identification, and development of appropriate work processes to meet client/customer needs.
  • Lead the Materials Control team responsible for the management of the materials inside of a Materials Warehouse and/or Materials Yard.
  • Execute of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual accountability audits of line items of materials in the Materials Warehouse or Materials Yard as required.
  • Ensure that the Materials Control team updates the systems of records for materials issued, received, relocated, or transferred.
  • Assist in the identification of materials requirements, acquisition, and identification of “Need Dates” and coordination of transportation for delivery of materials in support of program and project specific operations.
  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the management, distribution, and disposition of materials in support of the program.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Must be a licensed Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operator; experience with 10,000 lbs capacity telehandlers and forklifts.
  • Minimum of 3 years of warehousing/logistics related knowledge and/or training.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience managing multiple teams working in remote locations.
  • Prior experience in an OCONUS Army contingency environment is required.
  • Ability to pass CENTCOM MOD 14 deployment requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.


Working Conditions

  • Willingness to live and work under environmental and other conditions that may be uncomfortable at times.
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
  • Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.
  • May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.
