SOSi has an immediate need for a Coordinator, Saudi Arabia. This position will entail being part of a strategic program to support SOSi with the delivery of KSA’s Transformation roadmap. You be part of SOSi’s Riyadh based Program Management Office and facilitate stakeholder engagements with the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF). Through these relationships, you will facilitate SOSi’s business development and capture initiatives in support of the KSA Transformation plan.


This is a high visibility position. The Coordinator will report directly to the Site Manager. He/she will maintain and create professional relationships with members within the RSNF and support SOSi’s strategic relationships, planning, and implementation of contracts in support of the Kingdom’s Transformation agenda.


  • Provide accurate written and verbal translation and interpretation between Arabic (Gulf Dialect) and English for both SOSi personnel and the customer. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting general operations, assisting in any actions associated with obtaining visas, participating in interviews, meetings, orientations, and/or other events, as assigned
  • Facilitate communication between SOSi and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In doing so, provide advice to the Site Manager with information provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on their purposes, principles, and direction
  • Assist program management in preparing all documents required for clients to obtain visas
  • Prepare all documents, and at times translate, for all orientations given to clients deploying to Spain
  • Provide cultural advice and remain up to date on the ever-changing Government inner workings through establishing contacts and networks independent of the company’s private partnerships
  • Cultivate an exemplary business reputation by representing the company’s abilities honestly and upholding the highest standard of integrity
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Proficiency in Arabic and English speaking and writing level 3/3
  • Native proficiency preferred
  • 4-6 years of previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region interpreting and translating Arabic into English—native language familiarity preferred
  • Ability to understand the details of all speech in Modern Standard Arabic & Colloquial Saudi dialect(s)
  • Extensive knowledge of Saudi culture, government structure, political and economic environment
  • Familiarity with local culture, customs, and regulations with the ability to operate freely within the local population
  • Ability to concisely focus listening ability with verbal and written communication to tailor messages for the target audience
  • Ability to take a logical and analytical approach to solving problems and resolving issues
  • Capacity to work under deadlines
  • Capability to display confidence in your capabilities, colleagues, and the company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with foreign military personnel related to security assistance and cooperative programs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Economics, Business or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office applications and the skill to develop PowerPoint briefings.

Working Conditions

  • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
  • Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.
