Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Fuels Foreman to be responsible for overall operations for the fuel farm or facility for an Iraqi base.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies all receiving or shipping documents for accuracy
  • Ensures all uploaded and downloaded fuel samples are being taken either by a laboratory technician or a trained Fuels Operator
  • Verifies bladder or tank gauging daily and conducts causative research to validate discrepancies
  • Ensures daily preventive maintenance and repairs are being conducted and properly documented on all assigned equipment

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience of having managed and performed fueling operations, including refueling, de-fueling, storage, maintenance, purity testing and tank gauging
  • Demonstrated familiarity with transportation of JP-4, JP-5, JP-8, diesel, petroleum, oil and lubricants

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

Working Conditions

  • Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
