Overview

SOSi has an immediate need for a Site Manager in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This position will entail being part of a strategic program to support SOSi with the delivery of KSA’s Transformation roadmap. You will lead SOSi’s Riyadh based Program Management Office and facilitate stakeholder engagements with the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) officials. Through these relationships, you will facilitate SOSi’s business development and capture initiatives in support of the KSA Transformation plan.

 

This is a high visibility position. The Site Manager will report directly to the Program Manager and provide expertise and recommendations at both the program and executive levels. He/she will maintain and create professional relationships with senior members within the RSNF and support SOSi’s strategic relationships, planning, and implementation of contracts in support of the Kingdom’s Transformation agenda.

Responsibilities

  • This program has ambitious goals with short delivery times. Therefore, the candidate must have the ability to quickly adapt to unexpected events and thrive in a fast-paced environment:
  • Oversee SOSi’s Jeddah team and associated operations that support the mission in Spain by ensuring all deliverables are met, and that all day-to-day operations are conducted in an accurate, compliant, and professional manner
  • Serve as a senior point-of-contact for RSNF–Spain’s leadership to ensure all services by SOSi meet or exceed the standard, as well as to provide status updates, answer any questions, and offer recommendations on how to streamline operations and better enhance the program
  • Maintain various databases, or “trackers,” to input the names of clients, accurately capture metrics and information that identify key performance indicators and/or performance shortfalls
  • Prepare all aspects of orientations and presentations for clients preparing to deploy to Spain to include coordinating with SOSi’s RSNF Spain team, ensuring attendance, and at times, translating
  • Ensure compliance with SOSi’s processes and procedures to obtain European Union visas, to include understanding the requirements, monitoring the validity of visas and passports, and troubleshooting issues that arise
  • Collects data and develops processes, standard operating procedures, and tracking methodologies that enable the program to achieve its organizational goals, strategic objectives, and internal and external reporting requirements
  • Implements productive and qualitative customer-service standards by resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, and determining system improvements in the different functionalities of the contract
  • Meet with vendors and subcontractors to ensure all services provided to SOSi and the client are to standard
  • Develop method to evaluate and assess program strengths, identify areas to improve, cut costs, and/or streamline operations and procedures
  • Ensuring goals are met in areas of customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and overall SOSi team performance
  • Reviews monthly statements and invoices to ensure their accuracy
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in Site Management or leadership equivalent
  • Ability to cultivate strong cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively with team members and business partners
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to make significant presentations to senior staff and/or the client
  • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate, synchronize, and execute complex tasks, activities and operations to achieve the intended objective.
  • Consistently conduct daily business with integrity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Maintain a positive attitude and a desire to be successful

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in other customer service, analytical, or operational related positions
  • Competency in spoken Arabic (Gulf dialect preferred).

Working Conditions

  • Personnel can expect to work in a mix of office environment, as well as travel within the assigned duty location in support of customer needs
  • Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary
  • May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.
  • Up to 25%of travel may be required
