SOSi is seeking a Mid -Level Counterintelligence (CI) Support Specialist supporting our United States Government (USG) customer. The Counterintelligence (CI) Support Specialist will provide a broad range of CI Operations activities to include analysis of those operations.




  • Coordinates and synchronizes a broad range of CI Operations activities to include analysis of those operations. Reviews, evaluates, and provides insightful analysis into CI Operations plans and activities in support of Services  
  • Uses a variety of classified and unclassified databases, software applications, and other intelligence research tools to identify, assimilate, examine, interpret, and evaluate all-source information/intelligence to determine the nature, function, interrelationships, personalities, capabilities, and intent regarding the intelligence capabilities of foreign powers, international terrorists and other entities and activities of CI interest
  • Provides analysis of Intelligence Information Reports (IIR)s/HUMINT Reports (HR)s and CI INTREPs, provides feedback


  • Active in Scope Secret clearance
  • A minimum of six years’ experience with former MOS , 35L, 351L, 97B, 35E, OR civilian 1810/1811/0132 OR as 18F = SF INTEL NCO OR 180A SF WO with ASOT-III, other service equivalent specialty codes such USAF 7S071 – Special Investigator (SI), USMC 0211 Counterintelligence/HUMINT (CI/HUMINT) specialist OR other DoD joint service equivalent specialty codes
  • If 35M, 351M, and 97E OR USAF 1N791 Human Intelligence Specialist waiverable with a minimum of three years’ experience as a Junior Screener Briefing skills
  • 3 years operational experience coordinating operations
  • Knowledge of Army/Joint CI procedures, doctrine, practices regulations and legal limits
  • Deployment experience
  • Experience in working with and through interpreters
  • Experience with interview and solicitation techniques, CI principles and methods
  • Experience in developing and conducting screening /interviewing/debriefing plans
  • Experience supporting CI operations OR acting in the capacity of / performing the mission of a CI agent 




Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates Degree
  • Government CI credentialing course such as CI Special Agent course (CISAC (or other accredited DOD credentialing course
  • Knowledge of Dari or Pashto language and Afghan culture
  • Familiar with CI Systems and databases such as PCASS, CELLEX, BI2R, TCOP, HOT-R
  • Graduate of Defense Strategic Debriefing Course (DSDC) qualified
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required


Working Conditions

  • Normal office working conditions with possible requirement to lift and/or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs
  • Periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary
