SOSi is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to support a customer on Ft. Meade, Maryland. In this position, you will monitor and measure activity and performance of a commercial telecom/IP network. You will collect, interpret and report network data and individual customer performance data to provide statistics for billing.

  • Works under consultative direction toward predetermining long-range targets. 
  • Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.


  • Minimum Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 10 years professional.
  • In Scope DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Must meet IAT Level II certification by holding and maintaining Security+ CE or equivalent.
  • Must possess and maintain CCIE-Security or CCNP-Security required with 4 years experience in CISCO firewall and network security technologies.
  • Must possess and maintain Juniper Networks Certified Expert Enterprise Routing and Switching (JNCIEENT) or JNCIE-SP certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • SME level experience in Juniper R&S technologies such as Juniper, Gigamon and F5.
  • Familiarity and an understanding how to deploy and maintain technologies such as CISCO firewalls, McAfee and FireEye, Windows, Linux, Virtualization and Splunk.
  • Fluency in a foreign language.
