SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Logistics/Property Manager to support a large Base Operations Support (BOS) program providing operations & maintenance (O&M) support services to our U.S. government customer in Iraq. The program shall support O&M, full supply chain fuel services, renovation and construction projects, and other limited logistics support. The ideal candidate will have experience working on other large O&M programs in contingency environments. The Logistics/Property Manager is responsible for the movement, distribution, and storage of materials and equipment. They serve as the technical advisor on all property management issues.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
  • Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
  • Responsible for managing, monitoring and tracking property based on site location, type and usage.
  • Manage an accurate inventory of all property; maintain and update property records.
  • Acts as the Company's principle property management representative ensuring that all task order requirements are met.
  • Responsible for allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs.
  • Inspects property to ensure compliance with safety policies.
  • Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers.
  • Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements to perform task order requirements.
  • Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from O&M staff.
  • Resolve property issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited U.S. college or university in Business Administration, Logistics, Public Administration, or similar discipline.
  • Five (5) years of property management experience compatible with program requirements.
  • Intermediate level certification from a reputable organization (e.g., Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA) from the National Property Management Association (NPMA).
  • Valid driver's license from home of record.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Advanced demonstrated Microsoft Office skills, to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.

  • Excellent demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent demonstrated critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant overseas property management experience.
  • Previous international experience and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions.

Working Conditions

  • The environment is very arid, dusty and dry. Deployed personnel will be exposed to extreme heat over long periods. Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
  • Personnel may be exposed to hazardous conditions.
