Overview

** This position is contingent upon a contract award**

 

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support a large Base Operations Support (BOS) program providing operations & maintenance (O&M) support services to our U.S. government customer in Iraq. The program shall support O&M, full supply chain fuel services, renovation and construction projects, and other limited logistics support. The ideal candidate will have experience running large O&M programs in contingency environments. The Program Manager shall have the authority to commit Company financial resources and act as the single point of contact with the customer as required to meet the overall requirements of the task order. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
  • Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
  • Executes all aspects of the site in accordance with the scope of the contract, and develops a complete understanding of the relevant subcontracts.
  • Establishes and maintains operationally consistent work processes and efficient and cost effective project environment.
  • Responsible for managing, monitoring and tracking O&M services; supervies all aspects of site operations.
  • Responsible for allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs.
  • Interfaces with external and internal customers and management to coordinate requirements and ensure standards are met.
  • Interfaces with tenant population to deliver services & ensure satisfaction
  • Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements to perform task order requirements.
  • Plan and manage projects.
  • Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from O&M staff and USG representatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited U.S. college or university in Engineering, Construction, Facilities, Contracts, or a related field.
  • 15 years of O&M support services and/or facilities management experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in providing such services to large facilities or operations.
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Certification (FMC), or Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) certification is required.
  • Valid driver's license from home of record.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Advanced demonstrated Microsoft Office skills, to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.

  • Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent demonstrated critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant overseas facilities management experience.
  • Previous international experience and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions.
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desired, but not required.

Working Conditions

  • The environment is very arid, dusty and dry. Deployed personnel will be exposed to extreme heat over long periods. Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
  • Personnel may be exposed to hazardous conditions.
