Overview

SOS International, LLC is currently looking for an experienced Secret cleared IT Enterprise Manager to work on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH), Honolulu, Hawaii. The Mission Partner Environment Engineering Services (MPE-ES) team in Honolulu, Hawaii creates network infrastructure designs for USINDOPACOM services. Our designs are secure, reliable and resilient and support USINDOPACOM’s mission and its 5000+ customers throughout the Pacific theater. Our team solves challenging technical problems with architecturally-unique solutions that enable USINDOPACOM to realize critical C2 strategies. The team develops systems to ensure that every segment of our enterprise infrastructure is healthy and manageable, and is robust enough to connect hundreds of cutting-edge embedded systems theater-wide. We are seeking an experienced leader to motivate and lead our engineering and support technicians working throughout the Pacific to help us deliver our private cloud platform to the warfighter in this challenging position.

Responsibilities

As the IT Enterprise Manager you will unleash your leadership skills, technical capabilities, and your talents for program management, mobilizing geographically separated cross-functional teams, interacting with senior corporate and government leaders, delivering solutions for scale and data-driven decision making. You will oversee the management of personnel and processes that take government requests for robust and reliable coalition services and integrate them into our INDOPACOM-wide infrastructure as supportable, resilient components. We need your management and leadership expertise, ability to interact with and support military and government customers, and strong technical experience to help motivate and guide our team members in a variety of technical expertise areas to include private cloud operations, Desktop as a Service, cross-domain access solutions, and warfighter support at the tactical edge.

 

Principal Duties:

  • Manage all IT Engineering, Operations, Project Management and Cybersecurity Managers in the organization by directing departmental and functional staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
  • Create functional strategies and specific objectives for functional teams and develop policies/procedures to support the organizational operations.
  • Oversee overall engineering, implementation, and operations & maintenance of enterprise-wide systems to ensure scalability and accessibility of applications or services.
  • Ensure proper information system operations and plan necessary upgrades.
  • Conduct research and recommend selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies.
  • Lead the team tasked with providing robust and reliable operations of the INDOPACOM MPE-ES enterprise which provides coalition desktop C2 services to more than 5,000 customers in the USINDOPACOM theater and to devices across the globe
  • Manage multiple functional/matrixed teams typical of a Network Operations Center or Security Operations Center (NOC/SOC) in support of the INDOPACOM MPE-ES enterprise
  • Guide the INDOPACOM MPE-ES senior leadership team by driving strategy, long term team development and employee assessment
  • Interact with all Functional Teams as needed to add to or advance our enterprise, correct or improve existing performance and resiliency, and guide overall program management for all team members
  • Consult with and develop strategies with our government MPE program managers in PACOM, PACAF, USARPAC, PACFLT and MCIPAC, as well as occasional interactions with MPCO leadership to support the overall MPE strategy
  • Coordinate and interact with SOSi MPE ES PMO, Finance, Contracts, Business Development, Security and Recruiting teams relating to both INDOPACOM MPE-ES Task Order management and potential opportunities
  • Other duties and responsibilities as dictated by contract or company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent years of related experience) AND a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in IT Management
  • An active in-scope secret clearance
  • CompTia Security+ certification
  • 5+ years of experience in network operations, security operations or enterprise IT service center operations
  • 5+ years of experience leading/managing teams of 25 or more personnel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Desired skills, knowledge, abilities, and experience:

    • Strong leadership abilities and experience leading and motivating a variety of skilled employees ranging from high-level systems/network engineers to entry-level help desk technicians
    • Experience operating in a large organization with cross-functional, functional or matrixed organizational structures
    • Experience with technical project management, specifically PMP
    • Familiarity with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure technologies (VMware Horizon View)
    • Familiarity with Hyperconverged Infrastructure (Nutanix preferred)
    • Familiarity with Forcepoint TTC or Secureview
  • Preferred:

    • Advanced security certification such as SANS/GIAC, CISSP, OSCP
    • ITIL Foundation Level certification
    • Experience in data center systems in both physical and virtualized environments
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
