SOSi is currently looking for experienced TS/SCI cleared HUMINT Analysts to join our team in Bagram, Afghanistan and locations throughout the ATO. The HUMINT Analyst shall function as a part of an intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of USFOR-A, and Battalion CJ2 staffs' analytical requirements.

  • Responsible for researching, developing, presenting, and publishing HUMINT products at a tactical and operational level, related to insurgent IED cell activities, and threats to local/regional stability as part of an overall C-IED analytical team
  • Conduct analysis of raw and fused human intelligence and counterintelligence data of insurgents who are directly linked to the acquisition, production, transportation, emplacement, and employment of IEDs.
  • Provide input to multiple government requirements and objectives, assist with analysis and production of various intelligence products, specifically focused on the C-IED mission set, and supply analytical support for senior military leaders
  • Attend meetings and conduct comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as a part of a larger analytical effort focusing on IED-related current events and long-term trends that could impact the supported unit’s mission
  • Responsible for HUMINT analysis related to IED threats, counter-IED mission planning, target development, damage assessment and counterterrorism in the AOR and Afghanistan in general



  • Must have an active in-scope TS/SCI clearance
  • High School AND 8 years of experience OR an Associate degree AND four (4) years of analytical experience within DoD
  • Requires one of these codes:  MOS of 35L/M, 180A, 18F, 35D/35E, 1N, 35F, 350F, 35A, 34A or other equivalent specialty codes
  • Proficient in the use of basic intelligence computer applications and intelligence related automation, including MS Office Product Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) to support analytical efforts and product development
  • Possess strong research and writing skills and be capable of effectively operating as a member of a strategic-level analytical team; accomplishing assessments of sources and their reporting through corroboration of source reporting, analytic feedback, quality assurance and developing HUMINT and intelligence products and assessments
  • Recent, forward deployed experience in either IED/C-IED, CT, South West Asia regional issues, HUMINT, CI or military analysis as a HUMINT analyst
  • Must possess a valid US passport, good for at least 18 months
  • Must be able to pass all pre-deployment requirements including a medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screens as deemed necessary to be considered deployable by the US military to enter into a hazard duty location
  • Must be able to obtain all required immunizations deemed necessary by the contract
  • Must be willing to deploy for up to one (1) year ($5,000.00 completion bonus)

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) or equivalent mid-level military enlisted, or company grade officer experience preferred
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required

  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
  • Requires periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary
