SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Knowledge Manager at the Mid level to support a program enabling integrated joint/combined space operations. The program supports the planning, integration, execution and assessment of global space operations in order to deliver combat relevant space capabilities to U.S. and coalition partners. The Intelligence Planner will support intelligence analysis and operations to gain space domain awareness as well as provide intelligence support to operational planning to enable assured delivery of space capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assists Aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.
  • Uses centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shapes workflow and processes.
  • Compiles reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limiting to, search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production and taskings.
  • Disseminates intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
  • Ensures the discoverability, fusion and dissemination of data, intelligence, reports, and products.
  • Participates in a knowledge management working groups.
  • Establishes, maintains, controls and / or otherwise leverages the networks and nodes used to send and / or receive, process, and store intelligence information.
  • Assists in establishment of a collaborative environment in which joint, multinational, interagency, and non-DoD stakeholders share data, information, knowledge, perceptions, ideas, and concepts.
  • Advocates, enables, and / or leverages existing and future capabilities to ingest intelligence data from the IC, other CCMDs, service elements, components, centers, coalition, and commercial partners.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI, must be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in common Joint intelligence Exercise Planning concepts.
  • Possesses experience as a Joint intelligence Exercise Planner at a Combatant Command. Joint Professional Military Education (Phase 2), and Joint Intelligence Planner Course (Phase 1) completion are highly desired.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experience.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced. Structures analytic questions based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical Provides guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies. Uses argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.
