The Mission Partner Environment Engineering Services (MPE-ES) team in Honolulu, Hawaii creates network infrastructure designs for USINDOPACOM services. Our designs are secure, reliable and resilient and support USINDOPACOM’s mission and its 5000+ customers throughout the Pacific theater. Our team solves challenging technical problems with architecturally-unique solutions that enable USINDOPACOM to realize critical C2 strategies. The team develops systems to ensure that every segment of our enterprise infrastructure is healthy and manageable, and is robust enough to connect hundreds of cutting-edge embedded systems theater-wide. We are seeking experienced engineers to help us deliver our private cloud platform to the warfighter, to include this Information Assurance Analyst position at JBPHH.
As an Information Assurance Analyst, the aspiring candidate will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of security measures to protect information technology networks and systems. They will collaborate with the team to bolster our cyber defense posture and management the complexities of information assurance for our unique enterprise. The analyst will work closely with our mission partners, customers, and stakeholders to understand their operational objectives and ensure DoD security procedures are developed and implemented in alignment to those objectives. The applicant may also help establish and implement security policies that conform to the mission requirements.
The position will require at least an active DoD Secret security clearance and SOSi will be unable to consider candidates not cleared at this level. The successful candidate must have proven strong analytical and communication skills and be able to work effectively within all areas of the organization under minimal supervision. Aspirant must have experience in network security and should have experience with DOD/Military/Agency architectures, to include network, security, policies, and operations. Where applicable, the job may also require troubleshooting problems; coordinating activities of LAN support personnel, provide guidance on common networking issues; assessing vendor products; managing network performance, and maintaining network security.
