SOSi is currently seeking experienced a Network Engineer to join our team in Fort Belvoir, VA. The position will provide support to the Cyber Support Detachment at 2^nd Battalion, 1^st Information Operations Command.

• Design, implement and maintain network services to support mission requirements
• Monitor and report network performance metrics
• Develop, implement and update backup and recovery procedures
• Troubleshoot and remediate network outages and/or errors
• Ensure availability and operability of hardware to support missions
• Maintain Security Template Implementation Guidelines (STIG) compliance as required
• Manage web and SharePoint Management
• Forecast hardware and software requirements
• Coordinate lifecycle equipment replacement
• Maintain networking equipment and software
• Manage software licenses
• Document processes and procedures
• Provide customer support

• Active in-scope DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
• DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technician –Level III Equivalent to: 
• CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) CE
• CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• CISSP (or Associate)
• GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
• Windows and LINUX Certifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience. Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced. Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
• Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
• Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution
• Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products
• Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems. Provides guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies
• At least 8 years of experience conducting relevant analysis

• Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required

• Working conditions are normal for an office environment
• Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
• May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends
