SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Intelligence Planner (cyber) to support our customer in Fort Meade, Maryland. The Intelligence Planner (cyber) will provide support to the Government Customer and provide support to a dynamic national security mission in the cyberspace domain.



  • Serve as an Intelligence Planner providing joint, combatant command level planning and design in support of tactical, technical, and operational cyber activities
  • Employs intelligence expertise and knowledge to assist in the integration of Defense and National intelligence support capabilities, including collection, analytic and targeting activities, into overarching operational planning functions and efforts across the DoD
  • Mission areas for Intelligence Planner assistance include, but not limited to, development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
  • Additionally, planners assist with red teaming, and intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process


  • Active TS/SCI security clearance, must be willing to obtain a CI polygraph
  • Senior Level: Master’s degree plus a minimum of 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category, or Bachelor’s degree plus 17 years of experience; with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • Mid Level: Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 8 years of experience related to the specific labor category; with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • Ability to operate individually or as a team
  • Strong inter-personal skills, and ability to coordinate across multiple Combatant Commands
  • At least two years Military planning experience and an understanding of Joint Planning Process (JP 5-0, JP 2-0, 3314.01A)
  • Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings
  • Relevant experience providing project management, managing requirements, editing intelligence products, effecting process improvements, and/or additional operational support
  • Cognizance of overall cyberspace trends, analysis and operations within the DoD and national level communities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Familiarity with CYBER domain, e.g. COMPTIA Net+, Security+
  • JPME I or Joint Intelligence Planning-I
  • Planning experience at multiple levels (strategic, operational, tactical)
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
