SOS International LLC (SOSi) Technology, Collection and Exploitation (TCE) group is currently seeking a Part-Time experienced Counter-Terrorism Analyst at the Senior level to support a government program in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

 

  • As defined by the government statement of work, the position will develop engagement concepts, refine decision logic for engagement concepts, plan URSA integration for engagement concepts, and evaluate planned integrations with URSA Wizard of Oz testing
  • In the second phase of the program, the position will refine decision logic for engagement concepts, plan URSA integration for engagement concepts. implement URSA integration for engagement concepts, and evaluate integrated engagement concepts
  • In both phases, the position will act as a lead author for any interim reports, and will be responsible for producing the final project report

Qualifications

 

  • Ph.D. degree plus a minimum of 15 years of experience related to the specific labor category
  • Experience working in an integrated government-contractor team fusing academic information from multiple disciplines
  • Effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the organization and external organizations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in manipulating various open source databases. 
  • Demonstrated ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys and analysis.
  • Demonstrated analytic leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies, tradecraft and techniques
  • Have 10+ years of experience driving collection reporting through assessing and validating open source reporting
  • Experience producing high-quality analysis reports

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Ph.D. degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required
