SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Help Desk Technician to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.


  • Provide IT support to customers world-wide.
  • Install, maintain, and support hardware and software for users workstations.
  • Responsible for recording incidents and providing support to end users.
  • Provide total customer support service as a single point of contact via telephone and/or in-person in the areas of e-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and applications developed under this contract or predecessors.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC and printer problems.


  • Candidate must possess or be eligible for favorable T1 (NACI, national Agency Check) investigation
  • Associates degree in Information Technology or related (OR the equivalent years' of relevant experience)
  • Minimum of four (4) years' of experience performing help desk support /system administration in support of DoD customers
  • DoD 8570.01 IAT level II (or higher) compliant

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active in scope SECRET clearance.
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
