SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Service Desk Manager to join our team in Fort Meade, MD to support the IT, Engineering & Logistics for the Defense Information School (DINFOS).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the Service Desk.
  • Oversee, track, and report hardware and software configurations, software license usage, and patch management.
  • Assists and advises service desk staff in resolving problems and issues that arise with customers.
  • Leads a team in organizing and prioritizing projects and determining individual assignments.
  • Builds and maintains healthy, professional relationships with customers and mission partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess or be eligible for favorable T1 (NACI, national Agency Check) investigation
  • Demonstrated ability to work with the project managers, network engineers, applications developers, broadcast and audio visual technicians, and logistical technicians
  • An IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active in scope SECRET clearance.
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Working Conditions

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
