SOSi is currently seeking a Dispatcher Lead on the SOUTHCOM LOGCAP V contract in Soto Cano, Honduras.



  • Receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews on customers' requests for service on articles or utilities purchased from wholesale or retail establishment or utility company.
  • Records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered.
  • Prepares work order and distributes to service crew.
  • Schedules service calls and dispatches service crew.
  • The Service Order Dispatcher calls or writes the customer to ensure satisfactory performance of service, keeps record of service calls and work orders, and may dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments using radio or cellular telephone equipment.


  • Associate degree in business administration (or equivalent experience) from an accredited university is preferred.
  • Must have 3 years of experience working in a similar position.
  • Must be able to function in an office setting, answer the phone, use office equipment, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish is desirable, but not required.

Working Conditions

  • Willingness to live and work under environmental and other conditions that may be uncomfortable or hazardous at times.
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
  • Requires periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.
  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
