Overview

SOSi is currently seeking Bilingual Teachers to join our team in San Antonio, TX supporting a humanitarian assistance project for our government customer.

Responsibilities

  • Teaches elementary school students academic, social, and motor skills in public or private schools.
  • Plans course objectives and outline for course of study following curriculum guidelines.
  • Lectures, demonstrates, and uses audiovisual teaching aids to present subject matter to class.
  • Assigns lessons, corrects papers, and hears verbal presentations.
  • Teaches rules of conduct.
  • Maintains order in classroom and on playground.
  • Keeps attendance and grade records as required.
  • May teach combined grade classes.
  • May specialize by subject taught, such as math, science, or social studies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in education or related field, or relevant direct work experience
  • Bilingual Spanish and English required.
  • Must be able to work independently or within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-4 years related experience.
  •

  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and pressure.
  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment
