Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking an experienced Project Coordinator at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland (temporarily working remotely from home). The Mission Partner Environment - Services (MPE-S) team at Joint Base Andrews is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support DoD multinational exercise planning as well as enterprise-level integrated systems, initiatives, projects, and programs. The project coordinator is part of a fast-paced team where open communication, teamwork, attention to detail, organization, achieving time sensitive milestones, and customer success are foundational to the success of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Providing project coordination/administrative support to Sr. Project Managers
  • Coordinating tasks and project activities in support of current project plans, project schedules, and project documentation
  • Facilitating meetings, where appropriate, to include developing and distributing meeting agenda and minutes to project stakeholders
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions related to the project portfolio
  • Assisting with preparation of presentation materials for meetings
  • Assisting in running project deadlines and action items to ground
  • Providing project related administrative support to include quality assurance and quality control of project documents
  • Ensuring projects adhere to programmatic plans and guidelines, and project documentation is adequately maintained for each project
  • In addition to achieving day-to-day tasks, will also be required to develop, maintain, and train MPE-S Project Management team members on internal processes and best practices, to include development and staffing of various project documents:
    • Letter of Technical Direction (LOTD)
    • Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
    • Workflow Procedures
    • Work Breakdown Structures
    • Technical Reviews
    • Project Overview Brief (IPR/MPR)
    • RASCI Matrices
    • ROM & BOM
  • Undertaking project support tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Active in scope SECRET clearance with T5 investigation and with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI eligibility
  • HS +10 years of experience including eight (8) that directly supported project and/or programmatic level staff, OR a relevant bachelor’s degree with 5 (five) plus years of experience in direct support of project and/or programmatic level staff
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for rapid delivery of technical documentation and presentations
  • Ability to manage an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing across all levels of a multi-tiered management structure to coordinate and/or lead project initiatives in the absence of primary project managers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) CAPM (or PMP) certification
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

Working Conditions

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. (Temporarily telework IAW DoD protocol/guidelines until further notice)
  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
