SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to support the Accounting department at our corporate headquarters in Reston, Virginia. The Accounts Payable Supervisor reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and is responsible for managing the accounts payable email in-boxes and approval workflow tool. 


  • AP inbox management (initial invoice assignment, response to vendors and SOSi inquiries)
  • AP Sharepoint Workflow tool management (follow up on past due actions, work with other departments as needed, troubleshoot tool issues with IT, provide weekly reporting for management)
  • Vendor research / reconciliation on accounts
  • Assist in answering process questions with AP team
  • Work with Procurement on PO/Invoice discrepancies / rejections
  • Back fill staff on AP voucher entry as needed
  • Understand requirements of and approves Vendor set-up in Costpoint
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant/related experience
  • Prior experience in U.S. Government contracting environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple on-going projects
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including knowledge of pivot tables, vlookup formulas and pre-processor templates required
  • Excellent, in-depth Deltek Costpoint Accounts Payable module experience with a good understanding of the Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order processes required
