SOS International, LLC is currently looking for an experienced MPE CCMD Project Liaison to join our team in Honolulu, HI. The Mission Partner Environment Engineering Services (MPE-ES) team in Honolulu, Hawaii creates network infrastructure designs for USINDOPACOM services. Our designs are secure, reliable, and resilient and support the USINDOPACOM mission and its 5000+ customers throughout the Pacific theater. Our team solves challenging technical problems with architecturally unique solutions that enable USINDOPACOM to realize critical C2 strategies. The team develops systems to ensure that every segment of our enterprise infrastructure is healthy and manageable and is robust enough to connect hundreds of cutting-edge embedded systems theater-wide.


  • Assist the CCMD with APAN, to include user training and user permission setting for CCMD groups created within APAN.
  • Assist the CCMD to resolve outages on MPE systems.
  • Maintain a COMSEC Hand Receipt
  • Draw COMSEC keys and rekey COMSEC equipment supporting MPE programs
  • Maintain a hand receipt for MPE equipment at various locations on the Island
  • Perform periodic inventories and DRMO unneeded equipment
  • Support Air Force Mission Partner Capabilities Office (MPCO) Capability Leads, as needed, at forward Field Office locations collocated within the Combatant Command (CCMD).
  • Provide technical support to MPCO INDOPACOM Liaison Officers and MPCO requirements planners when dealing with MPCO requirements, requests for information, change requests and service management incidents (trouble tickets).
  • Analyze/process customer requests for information, requirements, and project and service requests:
    • Research and develop expertise of the various MPCO capabilities.
    • Demonstrate an ability to apply this knowledge to the aforementioned requests for information to answer them or router them to the appropriate office withing the MPCO portfolio for resolution.
    • Follow-up on any of the above customer submissions and provide updates to the customer on their status thru its resolution.
  • Translate customer requirements and requests for services into Requirements Matrices, Technical Solutions Exercise Support plans and Engineering Change Requests.
  • Solicit input from MPCO support staff, INDOPACOM, its component commands and other stakeholders to provide regular update briefings on the status of exercise preparations, requests for information and projects that the stakeholder has an interest in.
  • Integrate into CCMD teams supporting exercises at the CCMD or at a forward location.
  • Coordinate the installation of Mission Partner Environment (MPE) equipment at CCMD locations.
  • Solicit feedback from the CCMD on how MPE is performing.
  • Attend technical conferences to advise CCMD reps on MPCO MPE capabilities.
  • Assist the CCMD with APAN, to include user training and user permission setting for CCMD groups created within APAN.


  • Active in-scope SECRET clearance
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience performing Network/Systems Administration/Engineering/Systems Analysis on DoD Networks/Systems
    • Advanced education in a relevant field can count towards the equivalent years of experience (Associate's degree equals 2 years of experience, Bachelor's degree equals four years of experience, etc)
  • One or more years of experience working on IT projects as a lead or part of a team
  • DOD 8570.01 compliant at IAT level II (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) or higher is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Certified Professional in Project Management (PMP) certification
  • CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, or higher technical certification
  • ITIL-F v3 certification
  • • Recent experience supporting MPE, BICES, CENTRIXS, PEGASUS, CFBLnet, and APAN networks.
  • Recent experience handling COMSEC keying material and equipment
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.
