SOSi is seeking a Project Coordinator to join a large medical support services program in Iraq supporting our U.S. Government customer. The Project Coordinator will facilitate operations and support of staffing, logistics, and mobilization of deployed personnel.


  • Facilitates operations and support of staffing, logistics, and mobilization of personnel to Iraq
  • Assists in the management, identification, and development of appropriate work processes to meet client/customer needs
  • Assist Managers in resolving complex problems and issues that arise with internal and external customers
  • Maintains administrative requirements to support the program; enters data in SPOT, develops purchase requisitions to support the program, coordinates closely with SOSi travel for mobilization of personnel
  • Develops and submits various operations reports for review by senior management
  • Maintains program SharePoint, collect and posts deliverables, catalogs reports, briefs, and metrics 


  • Required and able to obtain Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field is required
  • Minimum five years of program support experience is required
  • Must be willing to travel to Iraq and support program requirements for limited periods of time
  • Candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required 

Working Conditions

  • Primary work location is Reston, VA corporate office
  • Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable in Iraq
  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions when in Iraq
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse condition in Iraq
