SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an experienced Data Steward (Team Lead) to support a government program in Ft.Belvoir, VA.  The Data Steward Team Lead will provide data management and data governance using government provided tools .The ideal candidate will have an active TS/SCI clearance with the abiity to obtain a CI Poly.


  • Provide data support to the program to sugstain operations and maintain technology platforms to ensure data access and control for the program
  • Leverage the agile methodology to plan, organize, and execute Data Lifecycle Management activities and assigned tasks
  • Forecast timelines and sprint evolutions by ensuring detailed metrics are captured by leveraging agile tools
  • Serve as support to government Intelligence Data Stewards by identifying, validating, and overseeing all data within the Intelligence Enterprise
  • Support the government, from inception to disposition, in the execution of  data lifecycle related activities (including acquiring, creating or collecting, processing, dissemination, using, analyzing, storing, and disposition of Intelligence data)
  • Identify and document challenges/requirements to enhance information sharing and intelligence integration. Attend tabletop exercises and other events to gather information and evaluate the current operating environment
  • Support the government in the development of plans, policy, and operations to execute wide strategic governance, direction, policy, plans, oversight, and guidance to address Government data and architecture. Propose new policies, frameworks, and plans to the government on a monthly basis
  • This position requires travel to various CONUS and OCONUS locations


  • Active in scope TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with ten (10) years of experience in an intelligence discipline OR an Associate’s degree with twelve (12) years of experience
  • 4 years of demonstrated experience providing data integration support in the form of data governance, data architecture, data warehousing, data quality management, metadata management, data operations management, and data discovery
  • 4 years demonstrated experience leading a team and managing work tasks of subordinates conducting intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination
  • Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 year
  • Demonstrated experience in foreign disclosure, intelligence dissemination
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver professional briefings and presentations to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and maintain documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures and ability to produce reports incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements
  • Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology
  • Experience with complex security classification decisions
  • Experience with coalition/foreign partner support, foreign disclosures, intel dissemination, or cross-domain operations.
  • Ability to brief and produce professional presentations to diverse audiences
  • Ability to draft and maintain documentation such as standard operating procedures
  • Produce reports incorporating text and graphics to address complex concepts
  • Experience with instructing and interacting with small groups on data and information requirements
  • Ability to coordinate tasks
  • Knowledge and understanding of mission requirements and labor category
  • Ability to define comprehensive, new, or emerging research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to tasks
  • In-depth knowledge of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and IC boundaries
  • Able to clearly articulate research findings
  • Ability to work with minimal oversight
  • Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate conclusion support
  • Test analytic rigor of analytic products.
  • Advanced experience using MS SharePoint 2013+

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education agency with twelve (12) years of experience OR have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with seventeen (17) years of experience as a substitute to the Master's degree
  • Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required
