SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Intelligence Planner to support our Government customer in Fort Grodon, Georgia. The senior planner will be assigned to support each unit mission. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all support related tasking are assigned to analysts designated to support a specific unit and will serve as the localized liaison between the Government and contract workforce. 


  • Employs intelligence expertise and knowledge to assist in the integration of Defense and National intelligence support capabilities, including collection, analytic and targeting activities into overarching operational planning functions and efforts across the DoD. Mission areas for Intelligence Planner assistance include, but not limited to, development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time sensitive planning in accordance with the joint operations planning and execution system (JOPES). Additionally, planners assist with red teaming and intelligence operations feasible assessments within the planning process
  • Conducts Intelligence Exercise Planning and execution activities
  • Supports intelligence readiness across all ongoing operations and planning efforts
  • Documents intelligence gaps and shortfalls and supports readiness reviews and improving intelligence operations
  • Integrates strategy, guidance, directives, and TTP into exercises wargames and technology demonstrations
  • Documents exercise scenarios, wargame structure, technology demonstration objectives, processes, and outcome


  • Active TS/SCI security clearance, must be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph
  • BA/BS degree in a related field with at least 12 years of Intelligence Operations experience including 3 of last 5 years supporting A-ISR operations AND 5 years Staff Officer or equivalent experience; OR HS diploma/GED with at least 15 years of Intelligence Operations experience with 3 of last 5 years supporting A-ISR AND 5 years Staff Officer or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written & oral communication, research, and analytic skills
  • Expert ability to manage personnel, requirements, and coordination of projects
  • Expert capabilities to research, create, develop, and deliver professional briefings, multimedia presentations, and written reports
  • Extensive experience supporting decision making and special projects on integration issues, including the preparation, production, and coordination of written products and briefings for senior stakeholders
  • Specialized experience in Intelligence Operations
  • Experience with tradecraft and publication and ability to coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups, assimilate large volumes of information, and independently produce written reports
  • Proficient in the development of IC reports, publications, regulations, and strategic communications
  • Subject matter expert in various GEOINT disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Army policies and regulations as well as established SOPs
  • Specialized training from any intelligence collection and analysis school or certification to include GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC-F, GPC_IA-II, GPC_GA-II, GPC_IS-II)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National System for GEOINT (NSG)
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required
