SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to support our U.S. government customer. This contract provides technical support and solutions to satisfy our customer’s enterprise IT objectives. The Portfolio Manager will operate as the deputy Program Manager, oversee the Program Management Office (PMO) and assist the Program Manager in execution and performance of the contract.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the PMO office which would include project management, ITIL process managers, asset/supply management and strategic planning.
  • Oversee several project managers and provide work priorities to possibly 10+ simultaneous projects.
  • Assist with overall direction of program activities and management of personnel.
  • Manage schedules to provide on time performance of all aspects of the contract.
  • Act as the alternate contractor interface with senior levels of the customer organization for all matters involving contract execution.
  • Regularly meet with the COR and customer leads as necessary to ensure quality contractor performance.
  • Manage timely and accurate submission of all required CDRL reports.
  • Represent management at program reviews, meetings, industry day events, etc.
  • As needed support after hours customer requirements

Qualifications

  • Active in scope Secret clearance.
  • Minimum Education: MA/MS (PMI certification or PgMP required)
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ yrs of relevant IT program management experience, ideally in an Army enterprise environment.
  • Substitution for Years of Experience: BA/BS w/12+ yrs
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Knowledge and experience with DOD/Army policies and standards
  • Capable of managing and controlling schedules and cost to provide on time performance of all aspects of the contract within budget.
  • Thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle management of military systems.
  • Experience planning personnel requirements and changing mission requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer interface skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITILV4 certification preferred
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required
