SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an experienced Network Operations Management Lead to support our U.S. government customer. This contract provides technical support and solutions to satisfy our customer’s enterprise IT objectives. The Network Operations Management Lead will oversee inside/outside plant infrastructure team, network infrastructure team, network security team, and a legacy voice team. The manager will need to have experience in various network technologies, ability to provide technical expertise to assist technicians in troubleshooting and repair of network issues, and assist technicians incorporating new technologies. The manager will need to be able to lead a geographical separated team.  


  • Oversee technical team that provides network functions to a geographical dispersed customer.
  • Have ability to work with government customer to understand mission requirements and then provide prioritize work direction to technical team.
  • Assist in designing specifications to establish network security and protect the network from vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee the planning and designing by the network team to establish a network to meet the needs and requirements of the customer ensuring optimization of system performance and efficiencies.
  • Respond to network incidents/outages to quickly diagnose the issue and then remediate it to restore network services
  • Review bandwidth usage and technology options to recommend actions to right size circuits to meet traffic loads and/or for cost and efficiency improvements.
  • Initiate the process and continued coordination to obtain telecommunications services using DISA online ordering system and/or interface with telecommunications vendor partners (e.g., use vendor portals/interfaces) to meet customer requirements.
  • Respond to after hour requirements as needed from the customer


  • Active in scope DoD Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field is preferable
  • 7+ years of relevant Network Infrastructure Management experience
  • 5+ years management experience
  • Experience in VoIP and wireless network management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer interface skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook).
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Must handle and manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be flexible with working hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cisco Certifications preferred.
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required

Working Conditions

  • Work environment is normal for an office environment.
