Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an experienced Senior VOIP Engineer to support our U.S. government customer. This contract provides technical support and solutions to satisfy our customer’s enterprise IT objectives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, operate and manage an enterprise Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network for a geographically dispersed workforce in over 700 locations.
  • Oversee and manage all components of the Cisco Unified Communication Master (CUCM) at the primary and disaster recovery site.
  • Develops and maintains all VoIP documentation to include drawings, configurations and SOPs.
  • Identifies and diagnoses problems and factors affecting voice services.
  • Performs preventative maintenance services on all devices within the VoIP area of responsibility.
  • Possess expert knowledge of CISCO routes, call managers and publishers, switches and firewalls in order to implement and maintain network hardware and connectivity devices.
  • Identify and resolve user and system telephony issues and possess ability to debug and diagnose voice issues.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SIP and SIP troubleshooting
  • Plan, research, develop and recommend voice solutions ensuring they meet the needs of the customer for speed, performance, interoperability and security.

Qualifications

  • Active in scope DoD Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field is preferable
  • Minimum Education: BA/BS
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 5+ yrs of relevant VOIP engineering experience
  • Substitution for Years of Experience: AA w/7+ yrs VOIP engineering experience
  • Shall be CCNP Voice certified
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer interface skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook).
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Must handle and manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be flexible with working hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required

Working Conditions

  • Work environment is normal for an office environment.
