As the Senior Infrastructure Communications Manager, you will be a key member of the SOSi team supporting our customer on Ft. Bragg. You will play a critical role in defending our nation, to meet the global requirements across the full spectrum of IT operations.

• Under general direction, oversees the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation communications infrastructure.
• Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program.
• Serves as principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies on operational matters, and provide day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership as appropriate.
• Serves as the technical design and architectural expert across the portfolio.
• Focus on solution development and architectural design.
• Develops solutions/strategies using technology to resolve issues and achieve business goals/objectives.
• Serves as a deal architect for multi-faceted, multi-technology solutions.
• Partners with other subject matter experts and solution architects/engineers.
• Develops and delivers technical presentations with customers and tailor content to audience as appropriate.
• Provides technical leadership and design guides/updates for the project team.
• Trains and mentors other engineering and technical resources associated with the project.
• Develops and/ or maintains relationships with equipment / product venders / suppliers to ensure solutions provided are current.
• Employs industry standards and best practices, resulting in a uniform, durable and high-level system performance.

• In scope DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Minimum Education: MA/MS
  Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ yrs of experience in communications infrastructure.
  Substitution for Years of Experience: BA/BS w/12+ yrs of experience in communications infrastructure.
  
• Degree in IT or related field.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
• Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certified.
• Computing environment certification: Relevant industry certification
• Experience working in the defense industry.

• 3 to 5 years managing teams.
• 10 – 15 years of relevant experience.
• ITIL 4 Foundations
• Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required

• Sitting and standing for long periods.
• Must be able to move between several buildings.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
• This is a travel position which requires about 25% of travel throughout the month.
