Overview

SOSi is seeking a Report Writer in support of a U.S. Government customer.

Responsibilities

  • Proofread and edit reports input to program’s internal area of the web-portal by Operations Team.
  • Proofread and edit reports input to program internal area of the web-portal by Open-Source Analysts.
  • Publish final reports to the public area of the web-portal.
  • Normal work hours are 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Shift work may be required to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts, Linguistics, Communication, Marketing, Technical Writing.
  • Two years of experience with writing reports, editing, and proofreading. Seven years of experience in these areas in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and office automation equipment (computer, printer, monitor). User level experience with Share Point.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

Working Conditions

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
