SOSi is currently seeking an exceptionally qualified Intelligence Report Officers (IRO) to join our team and to further your career supporting USSOCOM.  The customer is looking for a Reports Officer with experience QA/QCing HUMINT reporting (both intelligence and operational), publishing HUMINT intelligence reporting (IIRs, SPOT, TIRs), conducting source deconfliction, maintaining source databases, tracking HUMINT requirements, and other HUMINT Reports Officer duties. Candidates must have experience conducting Reports Officer duties at a higher echelon and not only at a team level. 

Employees must maintain global readiness and be available to deploy on a no-notice basis to hazardous duty/combat zones.  Deployments may be to a theater of operations with permissive, uncertain, or hostile environments while living in austere conditions for extended periods of time.


  • The IRO will be responsible for the development of reports, statements, and briefing documents
  • Must be able to perform research and analysis on data and write reports, adhering to tight timelines and strict quality guidelines, using numerous U.S. Government databases
  • Responsible for the analysis and validation of a wide variety of information which supports several components of U.S. Government’s Intelligence Community (IC) requirements and responsibilities including: CT and regional analysis, GEOINT, HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT/PAI, political/military analysis and support to targeting
  • Must be able to organize documentation that relays the salient points to partners and decision makers within USSOCOM
  • The IRO will also be responsible for the production of a wide variety of intelligence assessments and products which support deployed SOF Task Forces that will further enable the F3EAD targeting cycl
  • The ideal candidate must also have good interpersonal, management, and issue-comprehension skills
  • Intelligence Report Officers Intelligence Analyst will be required to support multi­discipline intelligence reporting operations for USSOCOM.  The IRO will formally serialize information and multi-disciplined intelligence garnered from collection platforms, operations, and Captured Enemy Material (CEM) exploitation


  • Active in-scope Top-Secret clearance and SCI eligible
  • Minimum of eight (8) years intelligence, analytical, or investigative experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with five (5) years at the operational level
  • Reports Officer with experience doing QA/QC and publishing of HUMINT reporting (both operational and intelligence), source deconfliction, writing and publishing operational cables, experience with GCOMS, and other HUMINT support related tasks
  • Additional years of general experience in drafting formal intelligence reports are highly desirable
  • Shall have experience in the preparation of proposed releases of United States Message Text Formats (e.g. Intelligence Information Report (IIR), General Text (GENTEXT), etc.) resulting from data collected throughout the USSOCOM
  • Will be highly proficient in utilizing current intelligence related automation, applications, tools, and databases to support analytical efforts and product development
  • Will possess strong writing/editing skills and be capable of effectively accomplishing of intelligence products and assessments
  • Have a Field Reporter Number (FRN) and provide if known
  • Must possess a valid US passport
  • Must be able to pass all pre-deployment requirements including a medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screens as deemed necessary to be considered deployable
  • Must be able to obtain all required immunizations deemed necessary by the contract

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirbale, but not required

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends.
