SOS International LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking an experienced TS/SCI cleared Physical, Personnel, Special and Industrial Security (PPS&I) Security Specialist to join our team at Ft Bragg, NC.The ideal candidate will be able to accurately and effectively comunicate with senior leadership and the customer.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptionally qualified Physical, Personnel, Special and Industrial Security (PPS&I) Security Specialist  to join our team and to further your career supporting USSOCOM.  The Physical, Personnel, Special and Industrial Security (PPS&I) Security Specialist position leverages previous experience in an Intelligence Task Force, National Intelligence Support Team, National Military Joint Intelligence Center Combatant Command, or a non-DoD equivalent IA operational community to support USSOCOM Staff to perform Physical, Personnel, Special and Industrial Security.

 

The Physical, Personnel, Special and Industrial Security (PPS&I) Security Specialist will assist, monitor, and advise on all aspects of security activities.  Plan and assist in the implementation of security activities to ensure personnel (military, civilian, contractors) and all supported tenant organizations are prepared to operate in non-traditional environments to perform critical contingency tasks. Personnel performing these functions develop written technical approaches and methodologies in regard to security proposals.

Employees must maintain global readiness and be available to deploy on a no-notice basis to hazardous duty/combat zones.  Deployments may be to a theater of operations with permissive, uncertain, or hostile environments while living in austere conditions for extended periods of time.

  • Formulate and ensure compliance with automated information systems security procedure
  • Responsible for suggesting, implementing and monitoring compliance with special security policies and procedures
  • Conducting and coordinating the training for special security representatives
  • Act as liaison with Government and Industrial Security officials
  • Oversee collateral and higher access and badge procedures

Qualifications

  • Active in-scope TS/SCI clearance
  • Minimum of six years physical, personnel and special security experience with DoD or equivalent Government agencies required with operational level experience preferred
  • Position requires experience in compartmentalized programs in DoD U.S. Intelligence Community, or supporting U.S. Contractors
  • Strong administrative background to support the mission
  • Varied experience in planning/accrediting facilities in accordance with the ICD 7051 standard
  • Extensive familiarity with all security processes
  • Working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include National Industrial Security Program Supplement, and DoD 5105.21 volumes 1-3
  • Must possess a valid US passport
  • Must be able to pass all pre-deployment requirements including a medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screens as deemed necessary to be considered deployable
  • Must be able to obtain all required immunizations deemed necessary by the contract

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirbale, but not required

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends
