SOSi is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a large medical support services program in Iraq supporting our U.S. Government customer.  The Registered Nurse will be performing a variety of professional duties involved in developing and delivering nursing services to promote and restore patient health.


  • Performs a variety of professional duties involved in developing and delivering nursing services to promote and restore patient health.
  • Practices in specialty area depending on demand in the work setting.
  • Provides physical and psychological support for patients, reinforcing patient understanding of disease, medications, and self-care skills and answering question.
  • Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards.
  • Follows hospital and nursing division’s philosophies and standards of care set by State board of nursing.
  • State Nurse Practice Act, and other governing agency regulation.


  • Required and able to obtain Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).
  • RN Associate Degree or BSN required.
  • Current unrestricted U.S. state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Membership in the Nursing Specialty professional association is desirable.
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
  • Maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • All health care providers and medical support staff must have recent clinical experience in patient care for at least six months out of the past year.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required. 

Working Conditions

  • Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
  • Long Hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse condition.
