Overview

SOSi is seeking a Housekeeper Lead to join a large medical support services program in Iraq supporting our U.S. Government customer. The Housekeeper lead will facilitate managing and ensuring that housekeeping personnel preform duties established by DOS and that services are performed in a timely and organized fashion. 

Responsibilities

  • Manages and ensures that housekeeping personnel preform duties established by DOS and that services are performed in a timely and organized fashion. 
  • Lifts and moves lightweight objects and equipment. 
  • Cleans and stocks bathrooms with soap, toilet paper, and other supplies. 
  • Cleans spills and other hazards using sponges and squeegees. 
  • Orders cleaning supplies. 
  • Makes minor repairs to the building, such as changing light bulbs. 
  • Notifies managers when the building needs major repairs. 
  • Observes and monitors staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to facility's policies and procedures. 

Qualifications

  • Required and able to obtain Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).

  • High school Diploma or local country equivalent.

  • At least three years in hospital and office maintenance cleaning and maintenance experience required.
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting and or previous experience working with DoD or DOS is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

Working Conditions

  • Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
  • Long Hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse condition.
