SOSi is seeking an IT Director to join a large medical support services program in Iraq supporting our U.S. Government customer. 

• Supervises IT staff.
• Provides IT support throughout Iraq and the entire program.
• Ensures all program activities are implemented in a timely manner and reporting activities as required. 
• Performs server patching of servers. 
• Supports network infrastructure, supports VoIP phones and understands Call Manager functions. 
• Supports Wireless communications. 
• Designs and maintains cabling infrastructure.
• Coordinates network changes with staff and subcontractors as required.
• Works with monitoring systems.
• Supports operating system servers. 
• Performs IT help desk functions.
• Confers with managers to obtain information on limitations and capabilities of existing systems and capabilities required projected workload.
• Assists with the planning, implementation, and supporting of the network platform and with the installation and maintenance of various Local Area Networks’ hardware and software infrastructure.

• Required and able to obtain Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in IT and some supervisor experience required.

• Maintain current certification Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

• Must have relevant experience for at least six months out of the past year.

• Minimum of five years direct experience in Iraq, performing similar duties is desirable.
• Experience in satellite communications strongly desirable.
• Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

• Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.

• Long Hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

• Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse condition.
