SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Operations Manager to support our U.S. government customer. This contract provides technical support and solutions to satisfy our customer’s enterprise IT objectives. The manager will oversee a ACAS team, HBSS team and a cybersecurity compliance team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain security appliances and devices, monitoring, scanning, port security, policies, training, and certification requirements.
  • Ensure cybersecurity guidance, processes and policies are followed. Contractor shall ensure all C4IM systems are properly certified and accredited according to law, regulation, and policy.
  • Perform cybersecurity assessments of all current and future C4IM systems and recommend risk management guidelines.
  • Oversee work needed to operate and maintain C4IM systems in accordance with the Authority to Operate (ATO) in accordance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) Package maintained in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services (eMASS), Plans of Actions (POA&A) and the Information System Security Manager Program (ISSM).
  • Ensure IT devices and networks are Army Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and Antivirus Program compliant
  • Ensure that log files and audits are maintained and reviewed for all systems and that authentication policies are audited for compliance
  • Provide configuration, implementation, operations and maintenance of the firewall solutions, assignment/maintenance of user accounts, interfacing with the network proponent for network changes/modifications and assessing impacts on the user community, and analysis of connectivity problems and resolution.
  • Oversee work related to Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scanning and Host Based Security System (HBSS).
  • Report information systems security violations and incidents to the appropriate authority per law and regulation and notify customer Cyber Program Manager (CSPM); review and evaluate the effects of security on system changes, document results and provide technical expertise to the IAM in remediation and restorative processes.

Qualifications

  • Active in scope DoD Secret clearance.
  • Minimum Education: MA/MS
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ yrs of relevant Cybersecurity Operations experience within a SOC and Risk Management Framework
  • Substitution for Years of Experience: BA/BS w/12+ yrs
  • COMPTIA Sec+ required.
  • CISSP certification required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer interface skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook).
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Must handle and manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be flexible with working hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL 4 Foundations preferred.
  • Degree in Information Technology or related field is preferable
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required
