SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an experienced Enterprise level Data Center Manager to support our U.S. government customer. This contract provides technical support and solutions to satisfy our customer’s enterprise IT objectives. The Data Center Manager will manage the daily operations of the datacenter which will include network security support, data network services, computer and peripheral devices, hosted applications and security requirements and lead a technical team of approximately 15 employees.


  • Develop long term vision of technologies and solutions; collaborate with industry experts and vendors to assess advanced technologies for infusion into the Data Center
  • Manage daily operations of datacenter.
  • Knowledge and experience with Virtualized solutions, Windows Servers and Domains, Linux servers, Switching / Routing, Storage Area Networks / Network Attached Storage, COOP Management & Execution, PowerShell Scripting, Active Directory / Core services
  • Conduct capacity and performance analysis, and provide system configuration change and upgrade recommendations to the architecture design of the Data Center
  • Create and maintain reliable and accurate data for performance monitoring and reporting
  • In the event of major server or network outage, manage and escalate the situation in adherence to current SOPs
  • Familiar with disaster recovery procedures and continuity of operations.
  • Resolve customer technical issues through diligent research and troubleshooting
  • Ability to respond to after hours support as needed
  • Acts as a technical expert to support engineering projects and participate in Change management Board


  • Active in scope DoD Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field is preferable
  • Microsoft Certified Engineer certification
  • ITIL 4 Foundations
  • 7+ years of relevant Data Center Management experience
  • 5+ years of managing a technical team of more than 15 people
  • Certification history that supports in depth knowledge of server management and virtualization
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer interface skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook).
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Must handle and manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be flexible with working hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required

  • Work environment is normal for an office environment.
