Overview

SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking an Associate Database Administrator in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The Associate Database Administrator reports to the Database Management Systems Team Lead and designs, implements, and maintains moderately complex databases, such as the following RCC-C databases: ArcSight,  ACDC, ESMS, Portal, ETFM, SCCM, SCOM, ETFM, PowerBI Data Warehouse Database, PowerBI Application, ARCYBER Data Collector Application, and JBSA SAAG Portal Databases.

Responsibilities

  • Include database dictionary maintenance and system integration in database design.
  • Work competently on most phases of database administration.
  • Support patching and system hardening through STIG application.
  • Develops, updates, and provides evidence for POAM maintenance and resolutions for all team controlled assets identified with an open security vulnerability requiring mitigation.
  • Follow ITIL best practices to manage tickets and processes.
  • Develop and/or maintain SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Collaborate with GTMs, Branch Chiefs, Division Chiefs and RCC-C Leadership.

Qualifications

  • Active in scope SECRET w/T5 clearance or the ability to obtain Interim SECRET w/T5 eligibility
  • HS +4 years, AA/AS +2 of similar experience, or BS/BA
  • An IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required
  • Demonstrate initiative and be results oriented with flexibility and tenacity
  • Demonstrate the ability to continuously adjust priorities to reflect changing circumstances
  • Ability to work in a dynamic cross-organizational team environment
  • Strong dedication to provide quality customer service
  • Effective problem-solving skills and inherent decision-making ability

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

Working Conditions

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
