SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking an Intermediate Application Systems Analyst (ACAS) in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The Intermediate Application Systems Analyst reports to the Enterprise Applications Branch Manager and is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the ACAS platform. This includes Nessus Scanners, SecurityCenters (SCs), Nessus Manager (NM) Agent Servers,  Nessus Network Monitor (NNM) Servers, JMS-A SecurityCenters (SCs), & JMS-A Scanners.


  • Provision, test, and monitor policy changes for the ACAS platform.
  • Troubleshoot application errors, operating systems, server hardware, network communications, and storage allocation issues within the ACAS environment.
  • Utilize Remedy ITSM to track and resolve problems impacting system operations.
  • Provide account management services to create, modify, and delete administrator and user accounts.
  • Review and monitor system health as well as event and user access logs.
  • Correct system and application problems identified in event logs.
  • Deploy and configure enterprise ACAS servers.
  • Develop technical writing to include manuals, user guides, processes, flow charts, and policies for internal and external use.
  • Support patching and system hardening through STIG application.
  • Develops, updates, and provides evidence for POAM maintenance and resolutions for all team controlled assets identified with an open security vulnerability requiring mitigation.
  • Responsible for new/existing ACAS platform process review, analysis, and creation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Provide timely notification to the Government for critical or high incidents.
  • Review all systems development project requests and coordinate schedules and related departmental activity.
  • Provide on-call support after business hours and during weekends when required.
  • Maintain SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Actively collaborate with GTMs, Branch Chiefs, Division Chiefs and RCC-C Leadership, as well as NECs, Brigades, and Operations Centers external to the RCC-C.


  • Active in scope SECRET clearance with T5 investigation or the ability to obtain Interim SECRET T5 eligibility.
  • HS +8 yrs similar technical experience or AA/AS +6, or BS/BA +4
  • An IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required
  • Ability to perform on-call and after duty hours as needed
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in a written form with users and office staff
  • Capable of explaining complex procedures both verbally and in writing
  • Work independently and within a team structure
  • Ability to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines
  • Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with those contacted during the course of the work day
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and completely in a logical manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • DISA ACAS v5.3
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
