Overview

SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking an Intermediate Server Administrator (WSMT) in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The Intermediate WSMT Server Administrator reports to the WSMT Server Section Lead. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Server Maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Support installations, configurations, and maintenance of operating system servers, both local and remote, in accordance with established IT policies and procedures and to support business processing requirements.
  • Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Possesses a general understanding of services such as ACAS, HBSS, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Network Policy Server (NPS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and File shares.
  • Understand and submit PPSs.
  • Possess a detailed understanding of IPsec concepts and implementation.
  • Support patching and system hardening through STIG application.
  • Develops, updates, and provides evidence for POAM maintenance and resolutions for all team controlled assets identified with an open security vulnerability requiring mitigation.
  • Ensure server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
  • Facilitate data/media recoverability by coordinating a schedule of system backups and database archive operation.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.
  • Build and sustain systems in accordance with all IA controls.
  • Prepare activity and progress reports regarding all systems analysis and programming sections.
  • Follow ITIL best practices to manage tickets and processes.
  • Develop and/or maintain SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Collaborate with GTMs, Branch Chiefs, Division Chiefs and RCC-C Leadership.

Qualifications

• Active in scope Top Secret (TS) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance or the abililty to obtain an Interim Top Secret/SCI eligibility
• HS +8 years of experience, AA/AS +6 or BA/BS +4
• An IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required
Experience with Server 2012 R2 administration
• Experience with physical (Dell, HP, IBM) and virtual (VMware/Hyper-V) systems
• Knowledge of client/server hardware and software configuration

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundations Certification
  • Familiarity with the following:
    • McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS)
    • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
    • Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
    • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
    • DISA STIGs and IAVAs
  • Be able to effectively communicate with team members and customers
  • Work independently and as a team member; set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines
  • Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required
