Overview

SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking a Senior Application Systems Analyst (ESMS) in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The Senior ESMS Analyst reports to ITSM / ESMS Team Lead and supports the provision, test, and monitor policy changes for Information Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Be proficient in the use of the following NIPR & SIPR systems: Europe Spoke, Europe QAT, Pacific Spoke, Pacific QAT, Korea Spoke, Korea QAT, SWA Spoke, SWA QAT, CONUS Spoke, CONUS QAT, CONUS HUB, CONUS HUB QAT, ACDC, and NETCOOL.
  • Prepare activity and progress reports regarding all systems analysis and programming sections.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify, diagnose, and resolve application problems.
  • Support implementation plans of new configurations for the application.
  • Support patching and system hardening through STIG application.
  • Develops, updates, and provides evidence for POAM maintenance and resolutions for all team controlled assets identified with an open security vulnerability requiring mitigation.
  • Troubleshoot application errors, operating system(s), server hardware, network communications and storage allocation issues within the environment.
  • Support correcting system and application problems identified in event logs.
  • Review and monitor event and user access logs to perform routine system updates.
  • Support account management services to create, modify, and delete administrator and user accounts.
  • Utilize BMC Remedy ITSM to track and resolve problems impacting continued system operations.
  • Respond to automatically generated trouble tickets.
  • Receive triaged tickets from the ARC and uses SOPs to complete service requests, account modification and restorations, and system troubleshooting.
  • Provide on-call support after business hours and during weekends when required.
  • Mentor junior ESMS Analysts.
  • Follow ITIL best practices to manage tickets and processes.
  • Develop and/or maintain SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Deal with pressure and conflict decisively and effectively.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Collaborate with GTMs, Branch Chiefs, Division Chiefs and RCC-C Leadership.

Qualifications

  • Active in scope SECRET clearance with T5 investigation or the ability to obtain Interim SECRET T5 eligibility.
  • HS +12 yrs similar technical experience or AA/AS +10, or BS/BA +8
  • An IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required
  • Ability to perform on-call and after duty hours as needed
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in a written form with users and office staff
  • Capable of explaining complex procedures both verbally and in writing
  • Work independently and within a team structure
  • Ability to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines
  • Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with those contacted during the course of the work day
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and completely in a logical manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Remedy AR System 9.1: Concepts (WBT)
  • DISA ACAS v5.3
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
