SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking a SYSMAN Team Lead in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The SYSMAN Team Lead reports to the Operating Systems Branch Manager and is responsible for the SYSMAN Team servicing SCCM CAS, SCCM Primary and SCCM Secondary, and SCOM/SCCM servers. Performs as a high-level individual contributor, leading a group of engineers, analysts, technicians, and/or one or more project engineers assigned for the duration of a project. The SYSMAN Team Lead is responsible for overall technical and personnel management of the SYSMAN mission.


  • Supervisory responsibilities to include but not limited to:
    • Reporting and timekeeping; technical/administrative training; assuring ITIL process compliance; actively communicating with the government to include utilizing MS Teams; scheduling to effectively utilize all team resources; support management decision-making; committing to quality management standards, QA/QC compliance, and metrics analysis.
    • Coordinates team schedules ensuring mission coverage.
    • Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work
    • Trains, mentors, coaches, and enforces the SOSi code of conduct.
    • Assures ATCTS reporting compliance and employees training and certifications are current. 
    • Recommends innovative solutions to more effectively and efficiently support work performance.
    • Ensures employees are compliant with required training and certification reporting requirements.
    • Provides performance feedback and appraisals for all direct reports.
    • Nominates employees for recognition and awards program.
    • Supports leadership development and succession planning program.
  • Work competently on all phases of applications systems analysis activities.
  • Lead automated system configuration, updating, patching, monitoring, system reporting, and statistics for deployed applications, operating systems, and services using configuration, monitoring and enterprise orchestrating systems / services.
  • Provide the RCC-C AOR with computer management system application deployment, configuration, monitoring, reporting, and sustaining services in accordance with system owner’s guidance, best practices, and/or industry standards.
  • Lead account management services to create, modify, and delete administrator and user accounts.
  • Review and monitor event logs and user access logs and provides routine system updates.
  • Troubleshoot application errors, operating system(s), server hardware, network communications and storage allocation issues within the SYSMAN environment.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to trace and resolve technical problems.
  • Identify complex network and system fault corrections.
  • Utilize Remedy ITSM to track and resolve problems impacting continued system operations and provide recommendations for corrective actions required.
  • Monitor for policy changes for Information Systems.
  • Lead the configuration and maintenance of applications to support system owner and mission owner requirements.
  • Lead documentation improvements, to include revised/updated procedures, processes, and methods for the operations and maintenance of the SYSMAN infrastructure.
  • Support application and software updates/patches.
  • Provide system/service status reporting for systems within the RCC-C AOR as requested.
  • Provide on-call support after business hours and during weekends when required.
  • Actively collaborate with RCC-C contractors, GTMs, Branch Chiefs, Division Chiefs, and various RCC-C stakeholders. 


  • Active in scope SECRET clearance with T5 investigation or the ability to obtain Interim SECRET T5 eligibility.
  • HS +12 yrs similar technical experience or AA/AS +10, or BS/BA +8
  • An IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required
  • Ability to perform on-call and after duty hours as needed
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in a written form with users and office staff
  • Capable of explaining complex procedures both verbally and in writing
  • Work independently and within a team structure
  • Ability to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines
  • Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with those contacted during the course of the work day
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and completely in a logical manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Microsoft - How to use Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • DISA ACAS v5.3
  • PMP Certification
  • 3-5 years or more of supervisory experience.
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.
