Overview

SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking a Change and Configuration Management Process Manager in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The Senior Change Management Specialist reports to the Service Management Team Lead and ITIL Senior SME and provides guidance for current and proposed investments in telecommunications and network facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Research present and future IT information technologies.
  • Follow ITIL framework for the organization to include problem management, availability & capacity management, incident management, change management, and service asset & configuration management.
  • Support the Service Management Team using established processes and procedures for equipment movement which includes ticketing, change management, Configuration Management Database (CMDB) updates and property accountability.
  • Work closely with system users to provide direction/assistance in identification and resolution of user problems.
  • Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and creativity.
  • Maintain Risk Management Registry.
  • Process requests in preparation for changes or requirements that support modernization.
  • Maintain performance reporting IAW ITIL Key Performance Indicators and Metrics Process Plan.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all access management and physical security activities.
  • Prioritize user support and access while enforcing security standards and requirements.
  • Follow established processes and procedures for equipment movement which includes ticketing, change management, Configuration Management Database (CMDB) updates and property accountability.
  • Validate that appropriate documentation has been provided for the posting of SA reports.
  • Provide timely performance reporting IAW ITIL Key Performance Indicators and Metrics Process Plan.
  • Provide on-call support after business hours and during weekends when required.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Provide timely notification to the Government for any critical or high incidents.
  • Develop and/or maintain SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Actively collaborate with GTMs, Branch Chiefs, Division Chiefs and RCC-C Leadership, as well as NECs, Brigades, and Operations Centers external to the RCC-C to foster an environment of ITIL foundation principles to include CSI & CPI.

Qualifications

  • Active in scope SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain Interim SECRET eligibility
  • HS +12 years of experience, AA/AS +10 or BA/BS +8
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Ability to perform on-call and after duty hours as needed
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in a written form with users and office staff
  • Capable of explaining complex procedures both verbally and in writing
  • Work independently and within a team structure
  • Ability to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines
  • Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with those contacted during the course of the work day
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and completely in a logical manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITILv4 Certification
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required

  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
