Overview

SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking a Knowledge Management Process Manager in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The Knowledge Management Process Manager reports to the ITIL Senior SME and leads all knowledge management activities.

Responsibilities

  • Apply ITSM and S2DF process-based approach to design, plan, operate knowledge management processed, and deliver services.
  • Manage, recommend and implement approved changes and/or enhancements to the RCC Knowledge Management (KM) processes to improve the efficiency of RCC-C services.
  • Improve tools and processes for publishing, disseminating, analyzing and managing operational data.
  • Include business and user needs analysis, requirements documentation, and translation into formal system requirement specifications.
  • Work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications on the application of technology related to current and future business environment.
  • Maintain and update Knowledge Management Plan.
  • Guide and advise less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.
  • Follow ITIL best practices to manage tickets and processes associated with problem management, availability & capacity management, incident management, change management, and service asset & configuration management.
  • Develop and/or maintain SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Active in scope SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain Interim SECRET eligibility
  • HS +12 years of experience, AA/AS +10 or BA/BS +8
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Ability to perform on-call and after duty hours as needed
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in a written form with users and office staff
  • Capable of explaining complex procedures both verbally and in writing
  • Work independently and within a team structure
  • Ability to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines
  • Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with those contacted during the course of the work day
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and completely in a logical manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITILv4 Certification
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required

Working Conditions

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
