Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi), is currently seeking a Senior IT Specialist in Ft. Huachuca, AZ. The Senior IT Specialist reports to the Infrastructure Team Lead and primarily provides support to Visual, audio, and messaging systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the physical installation, removal, replacement, and physical management of RCC-C hardware.
  • Monitor sensor infrastructure sensors and agents for failures, performance degradations, or loss of security event visibility, and take corrective action to restore the system to full operation for real-time monitoring of security events.
  • Support configuration and operational management for an enterprise level services infrastructure consisting of both internal and external network, systems, and services that include, access, vulnerability, hardening, accountability, and verification of services.
  • Support patching and system hardening through STIG application.
  • Develops, updates, and provides evidence for POAM maintenance and resolutions for all team controlled assets identified with an open security vulnerability requiring mitigation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Document, maintain, and update physical / logical diagrams that depict current operational structures of the LAN managed devices, active network interfaces, IP addresses, and subnet masks.
  • Assist with all actions associated with install, maintain, repair, move, and/or replace network infrastructure cabling, vertical and horizontal management systems, drop boxes, equipment racks, and cable trays.
  • Provide timely notification to the Government for critical or high incidents.
  • Review all systems development project requests and coordinate schedules and related departmental activity.
  • Provide on-call support after business hours and during weekends when required.
  • Develop and/or maintain SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Actively collaborate with GTMs, Branch Chiefs, Division Chiefs and RCC-C Leadership, as well as NECs, Brigades, and Operations Centers external to the RCC-C.

Qualifications

  • Active in scope SECRET clearance with T5 investigation or the ability to obtain Interim SECRET T5 eligibility
  • HS +12 years of IT/Cyber experience or AA/AS +10 or BA/BS +8
  • An IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required
  • Knowledge of network specific DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides and checklists

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • FedVTE training
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of eMASS
  • Experience performing IA audits within a DoD organization
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required
