SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking a WAN Team Lead in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The WAN Team Lead reports to the WAN Branch Manager and supports all phases of network and transport operations from inception through completion. The WAN Team Lead manages multiple WAN Sections to ensure mission coverage and maintain relationships with NEC, Brigade, and Army Command leadership. The WAN Team Lead is responsible for overall technical and personnel management of the WAN mission and develops and maintains 24/7 schedules, on call roster, and recall procedures. The WAN Team Lead is responsible for overall technical and personnel management of RCC-C Wide Area Network, and supervises multiple WAN Sections (WAN Section A, B, C, & D) as well as WAN SIPR.

• Supervisory responsibilities to include but not limited to:
  • Reporting and timekeeping; technical/administrative training; assuring ITIL process compliance; actively communicating with the government to include utilizing MS Teams; scheduling to effectively utilize all team resources; support management decision-making; committing to quality management standards, QA/QC compliance, and metrics analysis.
  • Acts as the coordination point for GTMs, external organizations, and other RCC-C internal technical teams.
  • Coordinates team schedules ensuring mission coverage.
  • Trains, mentors, coaches, and enforces the SOSi code of conduct.
  • Assures ATCTS reporting compliance and employees training and certifications are current. 
  • Recommends innovative solutions to more effectively and efficiently support work performance.
  • Provides performance feedback and appraisals for all direct reports.
  • Nominates employees for recognition and awards program.
  • Supports leadership development and succession planning program.
• Develop solutions to complex DoDIN-A transport problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
• Analyze network topologies, traffic, and capacity requirements, delivering reports cyclically and as necessary.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems.
• Orchestrate maintenance to support network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
• Configure, test, and maintain WAN equipment and services.
• Analyze application Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and multi-media communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading network component operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, and other devices.
• Resolve interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms including email, file transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing, authentication, etc.
• Support implementation plans of new configurations for insertion and integration into the network and the specifications for network interfaces to ensure effective integration and optimal network performance between organizational boundaries.
• Administers network security and/or maintain network security appliances while maintaining artifacts for RMF or CCRI such as the PPSM and CRQs or exceptions to policy (ETP).
• Work with vendors to evaluate new products on behalf of NETCOM or RCC-C leadership, and identify and resolve equipment, service, or component design discrepancies.
• Provide guidance and work leadership and structure to less-experienced network engineers and other technical staff to keep up with a dynamic prioritization effort.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Follow ITIL best practices to manage tickets and processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.
• Develop and/or maintain SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Participate in special projects as required.
• Actively collaborate with GTMs, Branch Chiefs, Division Chiefs and RCC-C Leadership, as well as NECs, Brigades, and Operations Centers external to the RCC-C.

• Active in scope Top Secret (TS) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance or the abililty to obtain an Interim Top Secret with SCI eligibility
• HS +12 yrs similar technical experience or AA/AS +10 or BS/BA +8
• An IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required.
• CSSP-IS Certification
• Must be willing to work overtime, after hours, holidays, and weekends, as necessary

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• FedVTE
• PMP Certification
• 3-5 years or more of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Network Monitoring tools including Spectrum, NetScout, ACS, BNA and eHealth.
• Knowledge of Bluecoat Proxy applications.
• Knowledge of Network technologies and topologies.
• Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.
