SOSi is seeking a Korean Information Environment Analyst (Language – Korean/Hangul) supports a social media program in Tampa, FL. The candidate will conduct social media research leveraging his/her cultural, linguistic, and experience to collect information outside the United States in a cyber environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, working both independently and as an important member of the team. This candidate will support the on-site Manager to execute tasks.

• Develops and maintains expertise with designated regional issues and draws upon publicly available online information resources.
• Reads, analyzes, regarding regional and ideological discussions in specified foreign language online media environments.
• Examines current media statements or postings to support trend analysis and identifies key communicators.
• Demonstrates reading and analyzation expertise in the assigned language and incorporates custom social media solutions to comprehend online environments and analyses trends effectively.
• Demonstrates knowledge of online social media and different technologies, and documents activities, notes, informative papers, or whitepapers written in English.
• Monitors the status and growth of information communication technologies to make recommendations for technological changes or improvements to the program.
• Synthesizes information and presents briefings at the FOGO level.
• Applies linguistic and cultural expertise for quality control purposes.

• Active in-scope Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related business or technical discipline.
• Requires BA degree and 1 - 3 years of related experience, including supervisory experience OR six years of related experience in lieu of the BA degree; OR 4 years of related experience and AA degree.
• Ability to read, write and understand in the target language (Korean) is required; minimum 2/2 Korean language proficiency; select candidates will be language-tested.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience working with publicly available information.
• Military or Department of Defense experience.

• Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Some evening, weekend, or shift work could be required.
• Some travel may be required.
